Frigidaire 25.5 Cu. Ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator

I've called out a technician in the last 3 years at least 5 times. if it is not the ice machine it's the cooling system.

We bought this fridge to replace an older but not really old fridge that died. This one was 8 years old. Knowing that nothing is made to last anymore we went with the same brand hoping that we would get at least 5 plus years out of this fridge. The ice maker wasn't hooked up for almost a year so it currently has about two years of use (two person household) and that started clicking loudly for the last two months. I figured and saw online they don't last but two years??!!?? Anyway I was waiting for it to stop working before replacing it myself. The ice maker was always weird in that it will sometimes just crush the ice when it feels like it and then it will go back to normal cubes in the same press, annoying but not a deal breaker. Still having an ice maker is better than having to make it yourself. The deal breaker is the fridge in the last two days starting making a HUGE noise, more a fan hitting something type noise in the freezer which went away after a minute. Fast forward to today, fridge and freezer are both under temp alarm on the fridge is beeping with no sound of the fridge even working. Hold power to shut off/back on and it sounds like it is going to be a fridge again and nothing happens. Fridge was power cycled with no change in the lack of cooling tonight when my food is close to going back I will enter service mode and see what the fridge thinks is broken. THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN TO A THREE YEAR OLD FRIDGE!!

I purchased this side-by-side Frigidaire product 6/24/2014. The freezer lining cracked the full depth of the freezer in April, 2019. Not repairable. Refrigerator at 52 degrees. Can you imagine a refrigerator that lasts only 3 years? Will be replacing with a different brand as customer service was of no assistance.

I am so disappointed with this fridge. It's not even two years old and the walls inside the fridge are brittle and cracking. Never saw anything like it. Never purchased a new appliance that was such a disappointment. Also a shelf bracket broke, and I'm trying to find a replacement part. Veggies spoil so quickly in this fridge compared to others. It just was a terrible investment.
