front water/ice dispenser buttons never lit up upon delivery, had to open door to change from ice to water every time ( a very poor design as well). ice maker very loud (sounded like trash can lids banging when ice cubes were making.

nice looking refrigerator that meets our needs. the water dispenser is a bit slow but adequate. the shelf with the sliding glass lays on a ledge to the right and is not locked into place thereby easily displaced. generally an acceptable refrigerator.

we previously owned the samsung 28 cu. ft french door fridge and it went out after many years of great use. we went with this one because of the water/ice dispenser and were so disappointed because the design of the inside is simply awful! it is not deep and because of the awkward shelf placement, you can only put gallons of milk in the fridge if you remove one of the shelves, leaving no room at all inside. shelves around icemaker are useless and small. do not buy this one, the layout is not user friendly at all.

this is the worst over-priced appliance we’ve ever purchaed. twice per week we have to use a blow dryer to defrost the frozen, non-working ice maker. the refrigerator constantly makes a dinging sound, the flex panel on the drink drawer cannot be used at all nor can it be reset. it does not work. this overpriced refrigerator is nothing but problems. appliance repairmen find out what type of refrigerator we have then tell us to just junk it & replace it because this make and model is nothing but constant problems.

first, late me say that we love our samsung refrigerator, except for the ice maker. we have spent the last 4.5 years with the ice maker going our every 3-5 months. this not an exaggeration. i just spoke to best buy geek squad and they told me we see the previous 10-work orders on the same ice maker issue. samsung, can you help?!?!
