Poor Programing, Unacceptably SLOW

I wanted to like it, but after a month I like it less and less. All the cycles are maddeningly slow for no apparent reason, it takes up to 11 minutes for it to sprinkle in enough water to reach a depth of about 2-3 inches, a real WASTE OF TIME. Most cycles are an hour plus, and about a full third of that time is waiting waiting waiting for the basket to fill to an excessively low level for both the wash and rinse time, which again is about a third of the time. For the final third it is either doing absolutely nothing but draining and spinning, which seems to take about 15 minutes. I bought this machine on sale for $500( $300 off because it was discontinued) and I regret the purchase. It has a big capacity and seems to clean ok, but no better than my old agitator model which did a full load in half the time. It now takes me twice as long to do a load of laundry. Whirlpool, what were you thinking? This is my 3rd Whirlpool washer, and I'm ready to get a Maytag instead. Whirlpool, are you reading all the bad reviews?? Why can't you FIX the Problems???
