I bought this 5.5 years ago with my first Samsung washer. I just replaced the first washer with a similar Samsung washer and the design of the pedestal allowed me to easily remove the old washer and add the new washer. I added the pedestal myself and tipped up the washer by myself without any issues.

DO NOT BUY. SAMSUNG WILL NOT WARRANTY SQUEAKING

Purchased with washer & dryer in March, 2018, from Costco. Washer pedestal squeaks like an old bed and it can be heard throughout the house. Samsung says the product has no warranty. Customer service literally said: “I didn’t need to buy it, it’s not required for the washer so the defect is my problem.” Unbelievable. We had to uncouple the pedestals.
