3 yr. old dryer & it's making my comforters, pillows & brand new bath towels into piles of junk! every time i wash even one of these items, it shreds them or tears the corners of the pillows and please samsung do not reply telling me how sorry you are for my less than ideal experience. actions speak louder than words! this dryer is a gigantic cheese grater. 2 new comforters & 4 new towels.. they now look like shag rugs. samsung is sliding downhill faster than lg & thats saying alot!!! i'm going back to good old reliable ge!!!

less than 5 years old and already have a cracked drum. appears this is common with these dryers. we've been 1 month without a dryer because the replacement drum was on backorder. very disappointed.

This dryer is defective: 18 months after purchase the dryer stopped spinning. Had to replace the belt and idler pulley. Another 18 months later same thing happened. Avoid this product.

major issue - beware - faulty idler

We've had this dryer for 3 years and it recently started making a loud squealing noise. The repairman told us the idler need to be replaced and it would cost $300 to repair and said he was seeing a lot of these issues with Samsung dryers and said it must a design flaw as it should not need this type of repair for 7 to 8 years. Called Samsung customer service and they were no help at all - couldn't even verify the serial #.

Thought with a name like Samsung I would be buying something I could run without issues for years to come. I bought the washer and dryer and have had them for just over a year first the washer won't drain now the dryer is giving us issues banging around like the entire thing is falling apart. Opened it up and no issues with any of the roller bearings not sure what is going on. Should have stuck with the last brand we had but thought this set looked nice, guess looks don't get the job done.
