Cracked drum - and only a year old

we purchased this set at lowe's last year. just as the warranty ran out, we noticed a crack at the rear of the drum. it appeared to have been there a while, but we didn’t notice it because of its location. we contacted lowes & were told to go through samsung. we did, but were told the warranty had run out. the crack has gotten worse and the dryer is now unusable. i just concluded a chat with samsung support and was told a technician will contact me. a local repair service quoted me $525 to repair this, about the cost of a new dryer. i understand how little things break or electronics fail, but a cracked drum on a high-end dryer like this is inexcusable. if samsung makes good on this, i'll change my rating, but right now i cannot recommend any samsung appliance.

we have had this dryer juuuust long enough for its warrenty to end and now it wont shut off unless the door is open regardless of wether it is turned on or off.

we just purchased this in june of 2018warranty just expired in june. the dryer stopped drying clothes not getting hot anymore element bad will not purchase again.bad customer service unacceptable

I had this dryer delivered and set up, each and every time I put a load of wash in the dryer and push the start button, the whole system shuts down it goes black. The first it happened I called the support line, they instructed me to un-plug the unit and wait a minute and then plug it back in, well that did allow me to dry my load of clothes, however I have to do that each and every freaking time I want to dry a load of clothes...it's brand new from the factory, they would not send a tech out the first time it happened and I don't time to keep calling and calling

Broke down after less than 50 uses and is no longer under warranty so Samsung will not honor any part of the issue. Spent hundreds of dollars to try to fix it with professional help to no avail. Stay away.
