The first washer I purchased was returned and replaced after the start pad malfunctioned 3 times requiring replacement of pad each time. The second washer has had repair for the same problem. With the dryer I never know how my clothes will turn out, most of the time they're a wrinkled mess and often are not dry after an hour in the dryer. The irony is that I purchased Speed Queen with the impression that they required little to no repair service, unfortunately that has not been the case.
