We have owned our washer for four years and have not had a single issue knock on wood. Been very pleased with our LG washing machine.

DESTROYS CLOTHING and poor customer service

I agree with the poster below see quote. Same exact problem lint filter catches items in dryer and they are ripped apart as dryer spins. Does not happen until after warranty has expired. Have replaced lint filter and no improvement. This dryer has cost us hundreds of dollars in clothing towels and linens loss. Customer service on chat disconnected twice when I tried to explain so the LG response below about contacting support via live chat is not at all helpful. LG has a defective product and will not stand by it or help customers. Customer support hangs up if you have a complaint. You will pay more for clothes No More LG for us 30 DAYS AGO The lint trap is made of plastic so when it gets too hot it warps and pops out. Then your clothes will wrap around it and rip tear and straps will break off. Of course it mainly happened after warranty and they are unwilling to send a new one and acknowledge that it is a faulty product. Customer service is lousy and unwilling to help.

Ive had this dryer for 3 years and it has crapped out twice. Power cord melted the first year and the thermistor quit in the third year. When its working its great.

The lint trap is made of plastic so when it gets too hot it warps and pops out. Then your clothes will wrap around it and rip tear and straps will break off. Of course it mainly happened after warranty and they are unwilling to send a new one and acknowledge that it is a faulty product. Customer service is lousy and unwilling to help.

I will never buy a lg product again good thing we had five years extended warrant which we had to use we purchased the dryer in 2020 its now 2023 we had lg techs out three times the last one got it right.
