This unit wasnt even 4 years old and it stopped working. It was used in a finished basementso not a real challenge for it. For the price and how long it lasted I wont be buying this product again. Also try to get it fixed I was told by the technician it would probably cost more to fix it than to replace it

I have had this for about 5 years. In a very clean location with no air restrictions. I felt it was a good value but now its freezing up and probably cant be fixed. It has a defrost mode on it but i am guessing it never worked since the 1st time i saw it frost up the defrost mode didnt turn on.

Ive had one of these for several years. I use it the basement and only run it during the summer months. It certainly takes a lot of moisture out of the air so in that regard it works great. A couple things you should know though if youre using this in one of you main living spaces. 1 After about a year of use maybe less it seemed to get louder. As I mentioned I keep mine in the basement so its not a big deal. It would be if I ran elsewhere. 2 It never turns off. I failed to understand this when I bought it but again not a huge deal for me with it being in the basement. It stays running non-stop and then kicks in to dehumidify when it needs to.

I bought this unit on 8/20/18 and it has served me well in dehumidifying until this spring. Now it freezes over a month ago it took two days now two hours. I have both vacuumed the evaporator and cleaned it with soap and water and applied air pressure. The LG authorized dealer concluded it needed a control board byt was advised none was currently available. PLEASE HELP ME.
