Good choice for our needs

As others have said bottle sizes will affect the actual number of bottles you’ll be able to store. The top shelf has the least amount of space on our unit so I’m unable to store that shelf completely full. The good thing is the open bin at the bottom allows stacking several bottles lying down. I was able to fit 33 bottles total. I’m not concerned about storing everyday wines as those cost less and get drank more quickly. However for those that can benefit from lying down for 3-5 years this unit fits the bill. I keep the temperature control at 50° but actual wine temps can vary by 5-7° depending on which shelf they’re on. Again I’m not too worried about that fluctuation since those temps aren’t putting my wines in danger. The important thing for me is they’re safer than sitting on my open wine rack especially during these hot summer months when indoor temps can rise above ideal long term storage temperatures. For those reasons this units function, capacity, and price makes it a good choice.
