This washer came with our apmt. It doesn’t clean clothes like everyone says, it doesn’t fill with water, clothes on top don’t get wet and therefore don’t get clean. DO NOT BUY THIS. You will be miserable, your clothes will be dirty. Water saving appliances are useless. I get it if you live somewhere where water is scarce the need for water saving, but that is not the case everywhere.

Leaks water. Possibly missing a shroud in the tub

We bought this stackable washer dryer for our vacation home. It is used only rarely. We started noticing water in front of the unit and couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. Tonight I stood in front of the machine as it went through a wash cycle. There is water leaking out of the top of the unit and down the inside of the washer. It looks like a shroud is possibly missing. I can’t figure out why Whirlpool would design a washer this way. Water was even coming out of the lid where your hand goes to lift the lid. I am very disappointed in the Whirlpool appliances we purchased to this new home. I have included a photo of the back of the unit where most of the water leaks during a wash cycle.

There couldn't be any worse washer/dryer than this

Received originally from the builder and it has been a nightmare. Having used for more than six months, all my clothes have gone bad and now finally I am replacing this unit. The washer doesn't wash clothes well, clothes do not get soaked in water because of poor washer design and detergent remains in the clothes. This washer doesn't take more than a few clothes. Have to do multiple laundry just for handful of clothes. The dryer doesn't removes lints properly. Now all my clothes have lints and i have to manually remove using lint roller or other methods. This laundry set always leaves some patches of dust stains on the clothes and it looks like clothes were never washed. This type of laundry set must be recalled by Whirlpool. Worst experience ever.

I wouldn't even give this a 1-star if I had the choice! I purchased Whirlpool Model: wet4027ew0 The system would not turn off, although the washer was in the "off" position. It continued to pour out water, even in the off position, and flooded my home on TWO separate occasions. I have never had such terrible issues with any washer and dryer. I WOULD HIGHLY DISCOURAGE THE USE OF THIS MODEL.

The washer unit in this stacked laundry center is badly designed. The main problem with the washer unit is that my clothing does not come out wet, meaning it does not fill with enough water or the wringer does not move enough, in turn means my clothes probably is not washed. When I put only 4 of my hoody sweaters, nothing else, to wash (mens medium sized) it comes out half dry. It is not a problem with my unit as I have friends that have experienced the same issue. Someone at Whirlpool should be ashamed to allow this product to reach the market. I wonder if Whirlpool conducts any testing at all.
