the letter and numbering on the stove that i bought with this microwave have come off and the knobs are peeling. samsung acknowledges that it was a defect but refused to fix it because they deemed it cosmetic. plus, they give you the run around when you contact them. save yourself the headache and buy something else.

Frustration in a stainless steel box

we purchased this from hd back in november of 2020. it's been an exercise in frustration ever since. the "fast boil" coils are anything but, taking 20+ minutes to boil a pot of water, and then another 5-6 minutes to return to a boil after adding the pasta. conversely, it's impossible to actually simmer anything. even on low, the burners will continue to heat. this requires moving the pot from burner to burner. this is not practical when trying to cook on more than 2 burners at once. oven temp varies by more than 50f when set above 400. we've had it serviced under warranty 3 times, with no improvement to functionality. i used to like to cook, but i don't any more. i truly regret this purchase.

as long as your appliance is under warranty samsung is great about fixing any issues. the problem is once your warranty is over they charge you for a technician visit and any parts needed. what if this is a manufacturer issue? i had a samsung tech come out and fix the ice maker of my fridge that was still under warranty. i mentioned the issue i was having with my stove; when on low the temp would quickly rise and when on high it would not heat up enough. he mentioned that had to be a problem in the motherboard, something behind the knobs like small switches that needed to be replaced. samsung will not correct the issue without charging me therefore once i replace my appliances i will not buy samsung again and will switch to its competitor. this is the model of my stove ne59j3420ss

so far so good. i have had this oven since january and it is working out so far. the bottom storage drawer is a little flimsy and it has some type of type of little specs on it that i am trying to buff out. thus the 4 stars.

i payed for the install of this range and the removal of my previous gas range. this was not completed as the company said they do not handle gas ranges. at no point did samsung indicate that would be an issue in the purchasing process. i was told i would be refunded for these items. i have not been refunded still after 2 weeks and spending hours on the phone and messenger. i was planning on buying a samsung microwave and dishwasher, but after this experience i no longer plan to. additionally, no power cord was provided with the oven. there was no option to purchase a power cord during the buying process either.
